All hail Caesars Entertainment! Caesars has 20 casino resorts in four countries, including star attractions like Bally's Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, and Paris Las Vegas. Beyond the Vegas Strip, Caesars owns casinos in Atlantic City, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Indiana. The firm also owns stakes in casinos in Canada and Uruguay, and has management contracts with casinos in Australia. All told, its properties include 25,000 guest rooms and more than 2 million-sq.-ft. of casino space. In 2005, Caesars was acquired by rival Harrah's for $9.4 billion. The deal cemented the merged entity as the world's top gaming company, just ahead of the recently merged MGM MIRAGE-Mandalay.
